Hey everybody, we're back!
Lately, we've gotten into "indie music" which is becoming popular in the States. With music genres expanding, new bands coming out with sounds different from anything else around, and old artists freshening up their sounds, the music world is bigger than ever.
"Indie" is an area that's taking over just about every area we can find. In music, it's mainly songs and artists that are new. They don't fit into any other genre, and they're kind of on their own. They have a more candid feel to them, they aren't mainstream, and they don't really fit the standard molds.
Ed Sheeran is one that started as Indie, before getting noticed and hitting it big.
Lorde is another.
We are enjoying this genre quite a bit. Are there any artists you like that would be considered "indie" or different? What do you think of the Indie genre of music?
